The company has 70 employees and is mainly involved in structural engineering projects on a public tender basis. Scaffolding for building maintenance represents one of its biggest lines of business.
“We know it would be near impossible for us to be successful in our market without our committed team,” emphasised Daniel Schüttler. “That’s why we always try to give something back to them. We organise a range of activities for employees, such as barbecues and summer fetes, to make them feel part of the family. We’re also one of only a few companies to have its own rap song. It does a great job making scaffolding apprenticeships more attractive to the younger generation,” added Daniel with obvious pride.
The company provides comprehensive basic and advanced training to its scaffolders, and ensures that all members of staff are regularly sent on courses – especially Layher training courses – so that they are always up to date on the latest products and safety requirements. “Our excellent relationship with our long-standing partner Layher, and the many contact and information options it offers us, makes an important contribution to the success of our projects.
I have never once regretted committing to Layher Scaffolding products. They’re perfect for us,” said Peter Schüttler in closing. Despite the importance of the business side of things, Peter Schüttler is keen to support a wide range of social projects, and the ever-growing list of projects that have received financial sponsorship from Schüttler is pretty impressive.
