Internal Access with Story Ladders in Hatch-Type Decks
The Low-Cost Variant for Upward Access in Scaffolding
Hatch-type decks – with the same function as scaffolding decks – allow for work decks, a stiffening element, and access inside the scaffolding structure, allowing material to be transported to a limited extent. Depending on the requirements and conditions of use, you can select Layher hatch-type decks in steel or aluminum versions. The ladders are available either for suspension, or already integrated into the deck, the integrated ladder favors faster construction and is theft proof. For work on the access deck, the ladder is removed if loose or simply folded up if integrated. A hatch closes off the access opening.
Comfort Stairs
Layher’s Comfort Stairs are stable and lightweight, yet very strong. Improving efficiency on site, these stairs are ideally suited for small to medium sized construction projects.
More safety, convenience and speed when ascending the tower is offered by the Layher Comfort Stair. Material transport is facilitated by the additional use of the work decks as all-round walkways.
Comfort Stairway Tower
The Comfort Stairtower is a 4 standard tower, either free standing or integrated into the scaffolding. Both parallel and opposite stairways are possible here.
There is no obstructions to work on scaffolding with this version. By offering more versatility, with strong materials Made in Germany, the Layher Comfort Stairway tower is designed to bring ease and efficiency to any project.
Allround Stairway Tower 200
This is Layher’s most utilized stringer access stair, constructed using standard Layher Allround® components. With the Allround® stairtower 200, 10-standard, each stairway is assembled from 2 separate O-stair stringers 200, with standard decks used as steps.
The high proportions of standardized material in addition to the low weight/volume of the individual parts permits a lot of variants in the stairway width while keeping the additional costs low.

Time and material are crucial factors in scaffolding construction. To make the most efficient use of both, the Layher range includes the integrated software solution LayPLAN SUITE. Several software packages are on offer for different requirements: LayPLAN CLASSIC, LayPLAN CAD.
