Cassette Roof
For weatherproofing and interim halls – low-cost and labour-saving roofing.
Cassette roofs have established themselves as a firm favourite at construction sites for conversion work and adding additional storeys, as well as for renovation and restoration operations. The structure itself and all the equipment is protected during conversion or roof repair work, and normal business operations can continue under a secure roof.
- Highly durable with long service life
- Spans of 89ft and larger possible.
- Can be pre-assembled at ground level and moved into place by crane.
- Integrated system design for economic efficiency.

Keder Roof XL
With the Keder Roof XL, Layher is setting new standards for temporary roofing over construction sites. The Keder Roof XL is the economic solution for small and large spans. Taking into account requirements to cope with local weather conditions, it can be built with a span of up to 30 metres!
The Keder Roof XL is based on lightweight Aluminum Lattice Beams 750 with integrated keder section in the top chord.
The Keder Roof XL has many areas of application, ranging from roofing during the addition of storeys and the repair of timber roofs and coverings, weather protection for new structures, refurbishment work on motorways and over bridges, and numerous applications for normal work.
- Double-pitch, mono-pitch and polygonal barrel roofs are possible.
- Faster and safer insertion of the keder tarpaulins.
- Roof widths up to 30 metres.
- High snow loads (up to about 1.0 kN/m²) with medium spans.
- Can be combined easily with the Layher SpeedyScaf and Layher Allround Scaffolding systems.
- Material and loading capacity tables make planning easier.
- Also available as a mobile variant.
The Allround FW Roof
The Allround FW System can also be used for roof structures of temporary weather protection in addition to many solutions, such as bridgings or support beams. Taking into account requirements to cope local conditions such as wind forces or snow loads, so far it can be built with unattainable spans of up to 45 metres.
- Allround FW System with large static height allows large roof widths over 45 metres depending on the local wind and snow load conditions.
- Thanks to the multiple and flexible applications the Allround FW System for weatherproof roofs, bridgings and support beams, the FW System can be used very frequently.
- With only 3 additional components for Allround Scaffolding the FW System can be mounted and integrated into Allround structures without any offset. The components are located on the system axes in all three directions.

With the Protect System, Layher can supply a cassette enclosure system compatible with Allround Scaffolding and SpeedyScaf systems and meeting requirements relating to environmental protection and insulation from noise and weather. This is an exceptionally economical solution which boasts Layher’s renowned quality.
- Also available with light cassettes to permit work in daylight conditions behind the enclosure.
- Thanks to the all-round rubber seal, the cassette elements are largely dustproof (facade coverings), vacuum-compatible (removal of asbestos) and waterproof (sandblasting work).
- With only a small number of individual parts, it is designed for frequent assembly in changing scenarios.
- Door elements compatible with system and individual requirements are available.
- Quick and easy assembly in a simple and logical sequence.
